The expansion of the Badia i Margarit Institute in Igualada is proposed at the street limit, freeing the rear yard of the plot and distancing the construction from the existing sloped area. Regarding this alignment, security measures will be provided to ensure safety and prevent vandalism, such as window protection and the installation of an alarm system. Access to the new building is directly from the square through an atrium and allows access to the new library and the porch area that connects the expansion with the current school. The new access maintains a direct relationship with the existing gym and the school building.
