Fairground in Madrid

The proposal is located on a site where water is very present in all its surroundings. Close to the Jarama River and the Sant Ferran d'Henares irrigation canal, the action proposes the inclusion of this element as one of the main materials; it acts as a common thread of the landscape, integrating the action into the environment. The limit generated by the Circumvalación Road is broken and traffic is improved through cross-sectional connections (walkways – viewpoint + access to the longitudinal path) to the new park, fairground and existing sports centre. The site connects to the north with the Senda del Jarama and to the south with the Caz de Regants path, enhancing both existing walks.
