MNAC ampliation

Our proposal focuses on a new access to the MNAC in the Plaza de Josep Puig i Cadafalch, in front of the 4 sculptural columns, taking advantage of the unevenness of the Palau Victòria Eugènia. A representative access is created visible from Avinguda Reina Maria Cristina, associating the access with the new exit and end of the route (Palau Nacional). We propose two interior connections between the Palau Victòria Eugènia and the Palau Nacional, one for users and another for works of art, creating a unified vision of the MNAC without the need to leave one building to go to the other. The museum idea follows a suggested route with flexible platforms to allow visitors to explore in order or disorder.
