The intervention at Casa Jaques consists of the interior refurbishment of the existing offices through a partial renovation and redistribution of the spaces, without altering the load-bearing structure, overall volume or façades of the building.
The project adapts the ground and first floors to the new functional requirements of the facility, improving the organisation of work areas, meeting rooms, services and support spaces, while also updating the existing installations.
On the ground floor, the restrooms are reorganised, a new kitchenette is introduced and an external meeting room is created, while the work areas, circulation spaces, storage room and projection/exhibition area are maintained and adjusted. On the first floor, the main workspaces, large meeting room, director’s office and support areas are redistributed, with the existing restrooms removed to allocate this space to new functional uses.
