The project is organised around a hexagonal geometry that efficiently groups the different rooms while creating visual patterns and green outdoor spaces that provide privacy, calm and contemplation.
The areas intended for families —waiting room, family room, farewell room and transfer room— are linked to one another and connected to an intimate, sheltered outdoor ceremony space. The building is located next to the cemetery wall, in an isolated natural setting, strengthening the relationship with the existing grounds while preserving the main access points.
The project is conceived with rammed earth walls made from clay-rich soil, a sustainable material with a low environmental footprint and high thermal inertia. Its presence brings visual and tactile warmth, evoking the atmosphere of a contemporary crypt or grotto, where natural light enters in a controlled way and becomes a central element of the interior experience.
